What is HYDRO ARMOUR?
HYDRO ARMOUR is Caprealm's own performance fabric: rated UPF 50+ (blocks more than 98% of UV), finished with a durable water-repellent coating so sweat and rain bead off rather than soak in, and laser-vented so air moves through the panels. Are Caprealm caps waterproof?
No — they are water-repellent, which is different and deliberate. Water beads and rolls off the surface, but the fabric still breathes. A truly waterproof cap uses a sealed membrane that traps heat and sweat inside, which is the wrong choice in a 45°C climate.
What does UPF 50+ actually mean?
UPF 50+ is the top standard rating for sun-protective fabric. It means more than 98% of ultraviolet radiation is blocked by the material. It protects the skin the fabric covers — scalp, forehead, the top of the ears — so you still want sunscreen on your face and neck.
Which fit should I choose, Modern or Vintage?
Modern Fit has a structured mid-profile crown that holds its shape — better for sport and for keeping its look over time. Vintage Fit has a relaxed low-profile unstructured crown that softens with wear — better for all-day everyday wear and a lower silhouette. The fit quiz takes about thirty seconds.
What size are they? Will one fit me?
Every cap is one size with an adjustable closure, which fits the large majority of adult heads. If you are between sizes in other brands or usually need a larger cap, the Modern Fit gives more height in the crown. See the cap size guide for measurements.
Which colour should I pick for the sun?
White reflects the most light and runs coolest under direct midday sun. Olive Green cuts glare and hides dust, which suits desert and trail. Black absorbs the most heat but hides sweat marks completely, so it is the pick for the gym, evening sport and travel. Blue is the everyday all-rounder.

How do I wash a Caprealm cap?
Hand wash cold with mild detergent, air dry out of direct sun. No tumble dryer, no iron on the visor, and no fabric softener — softener coats the fibres and degrades both the water-repellent finish and the breathability.
